Michael Birner is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder where, in addition to his academic degree, he extensively studied the sports of cycling and skiing. His involvement with CU and its national championship cycling team along with other team programs before and after have exposed him to various methods of training and coaching.

"Over my many years of involvement with cycling I have been privileged enough to learn from some of the very best in the sport. It has allowed me to see and try many different training methods and philosophies and from these I have developed the training techniques to help cyclists reach their full potential."

"As a Masters level cyclist with a full time job and a family I understand the time crunch that we all face when trying to fit cycling into our normal lives. For that reason, my training emphasizes quality over quantity so that we have more time for the even more important things in our life."
